Pawley’s Island Tavern (PIT)

There is simply no night like a PIT night. Located just off Hwy 17 in Pawley’s Island, SC, the Pawley’s Island Tavern (PIT for short), is a place that may not look like much at first glance. Loved by tourists and locals alike, the PIT offers some of the best local entertainment that can draw a good crowd. The PIT is best known for the layers of cash lining the interior of the restaurant and bar. Most of the money features a note, a drawing, and probably some deep dark secrets. Make sure you have a dollar or two to put up. The bartenders usually have a sharpie.
